Falcons blowing a 28-3 Super Bowl lead has been immortalized in Lego (Video)

The Atlanta Falcons blew a 28-3 lead and forever have to live with the fact that the franchise’s most epic failure is now immortalized in Lego.

Lego and sports don’t usually go hand-in-hand, but Lego-izing moments in sports history is a national past time. Not every moment gets the Lego treatment, as it has to be something profoundly significant  to get forever immortalized in Lego.

Something like Tom Brady and the New England Patriots erasing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl.

A few weeks ago we passed along a Lego-ized re-telling of the Golden State Warriors blowing a 3-1 NBA Finals lead. That was over the course of a seven game series — someone did the Falcons even worst.

That’s a little unfair. The Falcons are the ones who did themselves wrong by blowing a three touchdown lead in the final quarter of the Super Bowl. The fact that it has now been Lego-ized is just a formality at this point.

If you’re a Falcons fan, avert your eyes. For those Patriots fans looking for their #MondayMotivation, look no further:

It’s still incredible that we were given a third act twist so violent. Atlanta can win the next five Super Bowls and it won’t erase the fact that they had a 25-point lead chewed up and spit out on them by Tom Brady and the Patriots.

A lot of people look at the blown 28-3 lead as a troll moment, ignoring the fact that it’s perhaps the greatest moment in Tom Brady’s career. While the aspect of trolling is alive and well with this Lego re-creation, so too is the crowing achievement of the greatest quarterback to ever play football.

Even when they are supposedly the focus, the Falcons still fund  way to blow the lead.
