Everything can be Lego-ized, and in honor of that let’s revisit that time someone brilliantly re-created a classic Jurassic Park scene.
We live in a world where just about anything can be Lego-ized, but only a select few people have managed to get it right. The Lego video games we’ve all played over the years are an example of getting it right, but more and more people are using low budget ways to re-create classic movies with Lego figurines.
One of the best, at least one of the best I’ve seen, was done by Macro Universe. The folks over there have gone full cinematic in re-creating a scene from Jurassic Park, and the result is amazing. Rather than just go the easy route in remaking the scene, there has been real effort put in to nail everything about the scene.
Check it out below, you won’t be sorry:
Its not long but it’s as cool as it gets. This isn’t an easy thing to do, as stop-motion animation is a tedious mistress that is hard to tame. Not everyone can do it, let alone do it right — which makes this even more incredible.
Macro Universe also has other videos where they re-created famous movies like Back to the Future and Star Wars. This Jurassic Park re-creation was just too cool to not share.
