A couple went on a Tinder date and ended up building a magnificent Lego drone on what has to be the best night ever.

Forget the day you get married, one of the most exciting days of your life is the day of your first date with the person you will spend the rest of your life with. You don’t know it at the time, so the magic can’t be appreciated in the moment, but, as Louis C.K. says, there are few things more amazing then seeing someone and going ‘oh my god that person’.

Going on a first date can be nerve-racking, even in this swipe-right generation we live in. Finding the right thing to do is tough, but every so often you find the right thing. Blogger Abhimanyu Ghoshal decided that the best way to spend his date night was building a Lego drone. He detailed his Tinder date here, and it’s a genius idea.

He talked about the creation of their drone in a post this week, but a real takeaway from this is the Lego love story that is blossoming out of what his date called little kid toys.

This is perfection. Abhimanyu has a winner on his hands, as evident by the fact that he proposed a Lego date and she was all in right away. Even after being a tad bit weary about the idea of hanging out and building Lego.

After hearing about the Lego drone date, we all had the same question: did it work out?

Abhimanyu has good news for us all:

"Oh, and in case you’re wondering – my companion rated this date a solid 10/10, and we’ve been on a bunch more dates since."

A Lego love story, how perfect. If the first date was this fun, can you imagine the Lego wedding that is bound to happen?
