Your official Summer 2017 Lego City set photos are here

It’s almost summer and that means new summer sets. Check out the official product photos and start planning where you’ll go now.
Where will you go this summer – the beach, out to sea or into the jungle deep? While real-life summer vacations are delightful, we’re of course referring to the Summer 2017 Lego City sets.
Let’s take it one locale at a time, shall we?
The beach is a stand-by summer destination so naturally any Lego City needs one too. The 60153 Fun at the Beach People Pack provides more than 10 minifigs, of varying ages and dispositions, all enjoying their time in the sun. Activity accessories include a metal detector, ice cream, a kayak and a sandcastle. And, of course, a smartphone (too real) and a $100 bill mocked up in the hands of a grandma minifig. Meanwhile, out at sea, Lego City is offering quite a few new water vehicles this summer. There’s the 60167 Sailboat Rescue featuring a doomed sailboat, shark and rock formation as well as a Coast Guard rescue boat. If one Coast Guard minifig is not enough for you – maybe your playing in particularly choppy seas – the 60163 Coast Guard Starter Set rounds out the crew with additional minifigs, a beach cruiser, shark, surf board and lifeguard tower. The Summer 2017 City sets really went in on the Coast Guard theme and photos from The Brothers Brick also tease a Sea Rescue Plane, 4×4 Response Unit, Heavy-Duty Rescue Helicopter and Coast Guard Headquarters sets. Pro-tip: Go for the 4×4 or HQ sets, they include an octopus.
Lastly, the Summer 2017 City collection fully develops a Jungle scene. There is of course the 60157 Starter set (alligator, archeological minifig team, boat, machete), but the main attraction is the 60161 Jungle Exploration Site. With crashed airplane, exploration vehicles, helicopters, ancient ruins, adventure minifigs and animals galore, its the complete deal. The 60160 Jungle Mobile Lab sets you up with a waterfall and more ruins and you can find a 60159 Jungle Halftrack Mission gives you a black panther as well as some food to ward off said black panther.
