14. Luke…I am your father

This life sized replica of Luke Skywalker is just…incomparable. Every part is Legos (of course), even the cape. As you can see, this person used a different technique of making it look more lifelike. Instead of the various colored legos to show shading, the creator used different arranges of legos to give it dimension.

As you can see from the picture of the entire statue, the creator went to great lengths to create what appears to be Luke Skywalker at the end of The Force Awakens. It’s an older Skywalker, rather than the younger ones from the previous movie.

My favorite part about this statute is the couple of liberties the artist took. They could have left the cape covering everything, and his clothes down to the floor, but instead, they gave him shoes! Very sensible ones, too!

I also love the fact that they made sure there was an actual opening between the sides of his long outfit. This lego statue is all about the little things done to show the time taken. The shoes, the opening in between the two sides of the outfit, and even the hands! All things that weren’t necessarily needed that the creator did anyway that made it that much more awesome!
