25. R2D2 for everyone!

Though the picture only shows one, this Pinterest post shows ten versions of R2D2s, made by different people. R2D2 is everyone’s favorite robot helper, followed closely by BB8 and C3PO.  He’s known for his red, white and blue coloring, but ten people decided they wanted better! So they went and got to work. They used an enormous amount of legos to recreate our favorite character.

Though you can click through for the different versions, the complexity is what is best to look at here. In the first one shown, a black and yellow type, we see it from the front. Others are shown at various angles. The front has everything that R2D2 has. They could be twins! It has the notches, and the lights made with legos.

The best part? The imagination that had to go into it! This wasn’t someone (or ten people) making a replica. These people made black and yellow versions, a pink version, a rainbow version (complete with circuits!), and even a black and white one that could be mistaken for a storm trooper. This is probably the best use of Legos anyone’s seen. Good job guys!
