03. Star Wars Trench Run – Video Game

This is when you know you’ve made it. A fandom becomes so popular that someone recreates a scene from a Video Game! And I think it’s easy to see why this is #3 despite the fact that it’s not from an actual movie.

For those who don’t know, Star Wars: Trench Run, is a video game that takes place specifically during A New Hope. You can fly an X wing fighter through a track that looks like the replica during the famous Trench Run.

But even if you’ve never played the video game, you need to play to understand how incredible this setting is. The complexity of this scene is nothing I’ve ever seen, and it’s better than anything I’ve seen in the other 22 Star Wars replicas in this slideshow. All the minuscule pieces that came together to make something so huge. I have to bet this also probably took more legos than anything we’ve seen as well.

The patience the builder must have had in order to make something so large out of such intricate pieces is unthinkable. The force is with this builder, as he recreated an important scene in the movie. There is truly nothing I can say that will even compare to what I’m thinking when I see this. This belongs in a museum, or at least in a gallery boxed up where it can never break. This is truly a masterpiece!

According to the post, it’s six meters long. Six meters!
