22. Vader and Chewbacca, chillin’

Nothing to see here, just two Star Wars guys hanging out on the Death Star.

Actually, there’s A LOT to see here! These are LIFE SIZED versions of two of our favorite Star Wars characters! Can you imagine how long these took?? Months?? Years?? They built it by hand, and just look at how they were able to use legos to create the shading that they needed to make them look lifelike!

Madame Tussauds got nothing on the creator of these characters. First, let’s look at the Darth Vader. Everything except the cape is lego, and if you look carefully inside, you’ll see that even though the cape is hiding the legs, they’re still there! This is 100/10. While the entire figure of Vader is chillingly beautiful, I think my favorite part is his helmet. Since everything is so intricate to make it look lifelike, I can only imagine how long it would take!

And now, let’s look at Wookie. As I mentioned before, the shading is what makes Chewbacca so amazing. They could have just used the same color brown the entire figure, but they used different colors to make them even more amazing.

Great job guys. Fantastic!
