Lego has confirmed not only that its giant October 1st set is a UCS Millennium Falcon, but has released the astonishing brick count as well.

Hang on to your butts, the UCS Millennium Falcon is picking up steam.

Alright, wrong film franchise for that reference, but you can’t blame any Lego fan for having a scrambled brain this morning following confirmation of the UCS Millennium Falcon’s brick count.

After weeks of seeing quick teases about the new set, everyone has been speculating about everything from what it will be (we knew that though), how much it will cost (a lot), and just how massive the largest set ever will be.

The answer to that last question was confirmed on Thursday — a lot.

Lego released a teaser trailer for the set on Twitter, confirming that the brick count is over 7,000 pieces.

Here’s the teaser, which gave us both what we already knew and also some new information.

The set is going to clock in at 7,541 pieces, which is no doubt the largest set that Lego has ever released. We already knew that, but hearing the total brick count is going to make you have to sit down for a moment. This brick count exceeds the previous record holder for the largest set by roughly 2,000 pieces.

We knew it was going to be a lot when LEgo previously teased that anyone purchasing the set will need a small dolly to transport just the box. We can only imagine who freaking huge this thing will be once actually assembled.

Force Friday is tomorrow in the States, but this set won’t be among your choices. We have to wait until October 1 to get our hands on this, but given the size of the set, you’re going to want to reserve some coin to pay for it.
